The Autonomy Era: Defending, Governing, and Securing the AI-First Enterprise

AI-Powered Global Highway

Cybersecurity

In 2026, the boundary between software and staff has dissolved. As AI agents evolve from simple productivity tools into autonomous "AI Coworkers," they are becoming the newest members of the workforce. But these agents don't just use apps they act on behalf of users, making real-time decisions and executing high-stakes transactions. This shift from "Human-to-App" to "Agent-to-Everything" requires a new security paradigm: The Identity-First Enterprise.

This track explores the move beyond traditional perimeter defense toward Intent-Based Security. We will dive into how organizations are building an Identity Security Fabric to govern this new "shadow workforce." We’ll move past simple access to discuss the fundamental pillars of 2026 security: Visibility, Integrity, and Trust. How do we ensure an agent acts with integrity? How do we manage the lifecycle of a non-human identity?

Session Highlights

1. Keynote: "Intent-Based Security: How Do You Know Your AI Agents Are Acting with Integrity?"
Trust is the underlying fabric of how human societies and businesses are built. And trust requires integrity. As autonomous agents become embedded in business workflows — accessing enterprise data, interacting with customers, and collaborating with employees — we must ensure they are acting with integrity. That means AI behavior must align with the intent behind every interaction with data, systems, and people.

In this session, we’ll cover:
• How autonomous agents shift security from access-based controls to intent-based models
• Why trust and integrity depend on aligning intent, access, and real-world behavior
• How the cybersecurity landscape needs to evolve with AI-native architectures

Speaker:
Varun Badhwar (Founder & CEO, Endor Labs)

2. Panel #1: "Three Challenges of 2026: Agent, Visibility, and Trust"
This panel examines the technical and operational friction points of the autonomy era, focusing on how security leaders maintain oversight when AI agents begin making independent decisions across the enterprise.

Speakers:
Nancy Wang (Chief Technology Officer, 1Password)
Sunil Agarwal (CISO, Glean)
Sreeveni Kancharla (CIO, Sailpoint)

Monica Bajaj (VP of Engineering, Okta) - Moderator

3. Panel #2: "AI Agents to AI Coworkers: The Shift to Context-Aware Autonomy"
As we move from simple automation to "AI Coworkers," the security context changes. This session explores the lifecycle management of non-human identities and how to build a resilient fabric that supports high-stakes autonomous transactions.
