About this Course
Quantum computing is poised to transform industries from finance to pharma, logistics to machine learning, and more.
However, it can be a daunting subject to approach for those new to the topic. This workshop will give absolutely anyone their first introduction to quantum computing. You will learn what makes quantum computing different, the state of the industry, and what the near-term use cases are for quantum computers today. By the end of this workshop, you will have taken the first steps towards Quantum Fundamentals certification in the Black Opal interactive online course, successfully executed an algorithm on a real cloud-based quantum computer, have a sound understanding of what’s possible with quantum computing, and how to continue your quantum journey.

Course Prerequisites:
- Majority of the course is open to all as an introduction to quantum computing
requiring no prior knowledge. - Entry-level familiarity with Python – participants will just need to execute code
provided in a provided online notebook.
