Chris is President, eMeter Strategic Consulting and Chief Regulatory Officer of eMeter Corporation, a leading provider of Smart Grid Management Software. His previous experience includes being CEO and founder of Utility.com, Vice President-Regulatory Affairs for Cellnet (now Landis+Gyr), and director of rate design at Pacific Gas & Electric. A nationally recognized expert on advanced metering and demand response, Mr. King founded the Demand Response and Smart Grid Alliance and invented the Peak Time Rebate rate design. Mr. King, who holds a bachelor’s and two masters degrees from Stanford, is also a Director of the Demand Response Coordinating Committee of the U.S. Department of Energy.
